Catch up Immunization for Children

On the fourth day of community exposure, the team were able to engage in the immunization of children in the community who came to the health center for catch up Immunizations.Vaccines are still effective even if given late than never at all,Infants who were not able to come on time for their vaccines were given the immunizations.Mothers of these children were also educated and informed regarding the importance of vaccines in childhood and how these protect their children against infectious diseases that may be fatal. It is important for these mothers to know the different preventable childhood diseases and stress that vaccines do work in preventing these diseases.
