Courtesy Call with the Barangay Nurse and Midwives

The team met with the Barangay Nurse and Midwives for a courtesy call. Community Health Plans and future activities were also discussed on this day.Among the Top 3 community problems that were ranked based on prioritization were Malnutrition, Hypertension, and Dengue Cases. The implementation of the intervention for the health plans of these three health problems aredone in partnership with the Barangay Council and the community people. As this is the last year of our community rotation, The team aims that with the conclusion of the community exposure after 10 weeks, the activities will positively impact the community and that the community people will be able to sustain the improvement even after the departure of the medical students.
