Larvicidal Application on Dengue Prone Areas

A second larvicial application was done on Purok 6 of barangay Siari. With the help of barangay health workers (BHWs) assigned in the purok, the potential breeding sites were easily located. The larvicides were then applied to these identified potential breeding sites. The households that are within the vicinity of these breeding sites were informed on the dangers brought about by dengue, the warning signs, and its complications. They were also informed on the preventive measures.
