Problem Prioritization With Barangay Siari

Before the community assembly, the group presented the data gathered and problems identified before the Barangay Council. After which, the group sought help from the council to gather the community people and disseminate the information regarding the assembly. The Assembly was held at the covered court of Purok 2 on July 11, 2019. Representatives of each household attended the event. The attendees were then divided into seven (7) groups, according to their purok number, each facilitated by a member of the team. During this focused group discussion, the team presented the data that were gathered during the survey and the community were asked to discuss among themselves which problems they consider important in the community. They were asked to prioritize these health problems using the Maglaya tool. The group used a 60-40 scale, wherein more weight was given on the community’s decision.
